How are you doing? First thanks for the video. I want to know by any chance do you know where the thermal fuse might be connected to? In my case the lights cuts on, but it doesn’t heat at all. Really appreciate it and thank you

@@macijust6012 unfortunately the only secret I know about these steamers is that little reset switch. I've sent them back to the company and had them repaired. One time it was the same price as a new steamer. I don't think it's a great product but I seem to just keep buying them because their price is reasonable. In the long run I'm sure I'm paying more than just purchasing a much larger boiler from a different company.

I just used a very thin piece of wire that I had. As long as the screws out on the other side it should actually come out fairly easily.

@@johnflerner1 Very odd. I have a sewing needle that fit that hole. What I found is the crown side of the lug (Both top and bottom), there is nothing in the hole. The needle can pass though it (I removed the fake screw). On the other side of the lug , there is something like a pin inside that is not moving at all. There is no way I can push it with a needle , let alone using a wire. I wonder why is different. I just can't figure it out. If I look at some video for Calibre with Leather Strap, it look like those 2 hole are actually not use and there is another hole for the spring bar.

I hope you figured this out by now my friend, but for any one else who hasn’t and may need this in the future …. Everything the guy is saying in the video is correct, he just failed to mention that before you can push out that “pin” that’s inside that hole, it is a screw down pin so it needs to be half screwed loose (lefty loosey) before you can then push it out from the outside not the inside. It will pop right out (be careful it’s very tiny and easily lost if not done in a contained area). Good luck!

If you've tried that and if you have the reset button that is also on the exterior near the front encapsulated in a black cylinder that needs to be unscrewed, I don't have any other suggestions. I have had to send Steamers back to Reliable. It's a pain. It also takes a really long time for the turnaround for the repair.

I really don't. You should probably call Canada. If you do send it in for repairs be prepared for quite a wait.
